Anti-Cancer Mechanism

Research of Small Molecular Fucoidan tested on different Cancer Cells

1. Fucoidan can help inhibit the growth and metastasis of cancer cells.

By regulating two factors, Smurf2 and Smad7, and inducing the function of the ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation mechanism, it can effectively suppress the growth and spread of lung cancer cells, induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of cancer cells, and reduce the size of tumors.

2. Activate the immune system

Activate the body's own immune cells (Natural Killer cells, NK cells) to help identify and accurately attack cancer cells.

3. Inhibiting cancer cell angiogenesis (similar to the function of Avastin):

Inhibiting the action of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), inhibiting angiogenesis, blocking the nutrient absorption of cancer cells, and promoting cancer cell death.
